About

I'm Abteen Arab, and welcome to my personal lab.

My research interests lie broadly in computer vision, particularly in how visual representations interact with geometry, language, action, and other modalities. This space serves as a personal research wiki where I document ongoing projects, ideas, experiments, and directions that I find interesting.

I call it a personal lab because that is how I approach my independent research: as a collection of projects organized around a broader research theme rather than as isolated experiments. At the center of that theme is geometric understanding—how models can build useful representations of the structure, dynamics, and eventually the physical behavior of the visual world.

My previous work has spanned 2D computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and visual geometry models. More recently, I have been exploring world geometry modeling, efficient and adaptive vision architectures, and ways of combining geometric representations with other forms of reasoning.

This site is where I share that work, along with unfinished ideas, technical notes, experiments, and research questions that I am actively thinking about.
